Calling PEI’s Next Generation of Tourism Leaders
Air Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island (TIAPEI) have launched the 2026 Air Canada Youth Tourism Leaders Award, recognizing young Islanders who are helping shape the future of tourism, hospitality and visitor experiences.
Up to three recipients, aged 18 to 30, will receive complimentary registration and accommodations for the 2026 TIAPEI Tourism Conference & AGM, taking place October 27–29. Award recipients will also participate as featured panelists in a session focused on the future of tourism and the opportunities available to emerging industry leaders.
Applicants must be current students or recent graduates of a tourism, travel, hospitality, business, event management, recreation or related program, and must reside in Prince Edward Island. Candidates are asked to submit a video of up to two minutes sharing their vision for the future of tourism and an idea for attracting and retaining young talent in the sector.
