Help Shape Canada’s National Occupational Standard for Outdoor Guides

The Outdoor Council of Canada and Tourism HR Canada are seeking volunteers to participate in virtual consultation sessions to help validate competencies for the outdoor guide occupation.

The two-hour facilitated sessions will bring together outdoor professionals from diverse guiding backgrounds to review and provide feedback on the skills, knowledge, abilities, and behaviours required for success in the field.

Session Dates

• Wednesday, May 20 at 12 p.m. ET
• Thursday, May 21 at 10 a.m. ET
• Monday, May 25 at 1 p.m. ET
• Tuesday, May 26 at 11 a.m. ET
• Thursday, May 28 at 1 p.m. ET
