ITHQ Hospitality Program Receives National SMART+ Accreditation

Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec has announced that its Applied Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management is the first university program in Quebec to receive SMART+ accreditation from Tourism HR Canada.

The national accreditation recognizes the program’s quality, industry relevance, and alignment with the evolving needs of Canada’s tourism sector. The evaluation committee highlighted the program’s strong industry partnerships and focus on developing transferable skills sought by employers.

Offered in the heart of Montreal, the program prepares students for careers across hospitality and tourism sectors including lodging, foodservice, and tourist facilities.
