In an innovative partnership, University of Windsor MBA students had the opportunity to team up with the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel on a campaign encouraging travel between the two cities.
The University of Windsor set up the partnership by contacting the Tunnel and asking if they were open to working on the project, resulting in invaluable real-world experience for the students and a tangible deliverable for the Tunnel.
The students created the “40-40 YQG Tourism Campaign”, which spotlights local businesses in Windsor that might appeal to visitors, such as restaurants, boutiques and art studios, and provides access to exclusive offers through a passport program.
