- Why I chose to study travel and tourism:
- Because I am passionate about customer service and the thought of travelling to any part of the world is exciting to me. Travel is the only field where I believe both my passion and my excitement could be satisfied.
- My dream job:
- While in college, I was inspired by my professors and what they have achieved in the industry before they started teaching. They have all been leaders in their professional careers, that’s when I decided I would also become a leader. I aspire to be a brand leader and to represent it throughout the globe.
- Most exciting travel trend:
- Sustainability. Tourism will only be welcomed and appreciated if it supports sustainability. Seeing major tour operators implement sustainable practices in their companies and promoting sustainable tourism is very exciting.
- One thing I can’t travel without:
- My music!
- My favourite travel experience:
- I visited San Francisco and did a road trip to Las Vegas. The drive included desert, farms and mountains, which I had never seen all in just one day.
- On my bucket list:
- Machu Picchu, the Amazon, Petra, Dead Sea, and Bali.
- My greatest achievement (so far):
- Being nominated for the Baxter Student Ambassador Program and being named the winner from my college is my greatest achievement so far.
- Best travel advice I’ve received:
- Travel as many places as possible because travel has abundance of knowledge, and it makes you a better person.
