Olga Menshikh

Olga Menshikh is from Khabarovsk, Russia, located in the Far East of Russia on the border of China. Travel is a passion for Olga, who has extensive experience travelling and living abroad, including years in Japan where she gained fluency in Japanese. She is particularly passionate about sustainable tourism and her dream is to work on the projects that would allow host communities to benefit from tourism or developing voluntourism.

“Being a student ambassador means being a leader… more importantly, having a valuable opportunity to be heard. Travel professionals are the ones who can initiate shifts in the industry. I see my role as a Student Ambassador [as one of] creating awareness among travel professionals, educating people and the promotion of more responsible ways of travel.”
