Three words to describe me…
Curious, Passionate, Reliable.
Three words to describe my travel style…
Conscientious, Intrepid, Active.
I chose to study travel and tourism because…
I discovered my passion for travel during a six-month exchange program to Leuven, Belgium and decided that I wanted to make a career of it.
The most exciting travel trend right now is…
Cultually immersive experiences like home-stays with locals, and community festivals allow travellers to build acceptance and understanding.
One thing I can’t travel without is…
A good book. When planes are delayed or you’re stuck in traffic or you’re just relaxing after a long day, a good book is like having a friend by your side.
In 10 years, I see myself…
In a leadership role at a tour operator and perhaps teaching part-time for the program at Humber.
On my next trip, I’m going to…
Backpack through South America, starting in Colombia and working my way through Ecuador and Peru.
On my bucket list is…
Canada’s North holds an allure unlike any other for me. I have a deep yearning to see Tuktut Nogait, one of Canada’s least visited National Parks.
What’s the best travel advice I’ve received so far?
To keep a travel journal. It’s nice to record your experiences and how you felt and is definitely appreciated years later.
