Baxter Student Ambassadors volunteer at inaugural TravelPress Live!

The inaugural TravelPress Live! gave two of Baxter Media’s 2026 Baxter Student Ambassadors the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while representing the program at one of Canada’s newest travel trade events.

Golestan Kadir and Jeanne Vianey Juliano volunteered throughout the event, assisting with event setup, welcoming and checking in attendees, supporting activations, and helping create a friendly and engaging experience for guests.

“One of my biggest takeaways was seeing just how much teamwork, planning and passion go into creating an event like this behind the scenes. Being able to experience it firsthand gave me an even greater appreciation for the people who make these events possible,” said Golestan Kadir.

TravelPress Live! brought together travel advisors, suppliers and industry professionals for two days of networking, education and interactive experiences. Volunteering gave Golestan and Jeanne a behind-the-scenes look at event operations while allowing them to connect with industry leaders and expand their professional networks.

“What I enjoyed most about representing the Baxter Student Ambassador Program was having meaningful conversations with everyone I met. Whether I was volunteering alongside the team or speaking with vendors and attendees, I appreciated learning more about what they do and hearing their experiences and advice as I prepare to enter the travel industry,” said Jeanne Vianey Juliano.

Their enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to lend a hand made them excellent representatives of Baxter Media and the Baxter Student Ambassador Program.
